  • Advertising target audience: bar and restaurant visitors, beer drinkers
  • Problem: With the enormous amount of beer brands available, most beer choices made in bars are based on whatever brand is on top of the customer's mind at the moment of purchase. The client wanted more bars in Chicago to offer their products and asked for a campaign that would place their brand on top of people's mind.
  • Solution: A high-impact concept was developed based on client's unique brand name which placed the brand on top of customer's mind. A billboard was placed in the heart of the most visited bar area in Chicago just half a block from the famous Wrigley Field where it remained for several years.
  • Results: Client's products are now possible to find in most bars and restaurants in Chicago and beyond.

Strategic Development & Creative Advertising Development For Global Beer Brand.
  • Billboard and advertising target audience: twenty-something beer drinkers
  • Problem: At the time of the development of this campaign, client did not have a clear brand position in the USA. The brand had lost sales and market share and the distributor was looking for a new brand position that could define the brand better to make it more competitive. Client's beer was in many bars served with a piece of lime and many customers expect this. Beer served with lime is common in Mexico so client had not recognized this as an attribute that they could take advantage of.
  • My position was that product itself could not be defined as having any advantages but with the lime it got a brand differentiation that made it stand out. A conceptual advertising campaign was developed on the strategy that client's beer is best enjoyed with a piece of lime.
  • Results: Corona has used this strategy to expand their brand globally.
